Before you begin

Prepare checked account names, dates and balanced amounts. Start with a small batch so you can verify every result.

Practise in a test company first. Check the active company and your permissions. Available options depend on your plan, role and platform.

  1. 01

For a one-off batch, open Bulk Entry and enter each row with the required accounts, date, narration and amounts.

  2. 02

Select Preview All. Fix row-level errors and review the proposed entries, then select Confirm All for the valid rows. Check posted and failed counts before retrying any row.

  3. 03

For a repeated transaction, open Recurring and Create Recurring Template. Enter its name, voucher type, frequency, start/end dates, narration and balanced account lines, then save.

  4. 04

Use Generate Drafts for the intended number of drafts or end date. Review each due date, amount and warning before using Confirm All for the confirmable drafts.

  5. 05

If vouchers posted but the schedule did not advance, use the warning’s retry action and check Next Due. Do not generate the same dates again to repair the schedule.

  6. 06

Open Registers or Ledger for those dates. Compare the final entry count and total with the batch or schedule, including any failed rows that still need attention.

Check your result

The expected entries appear once, with the correct dates and totals.

If something doesn’t look right

Do not assume that a recurring template posts automatically. Check the scheduling and confirmation options in your workspace.
