Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of Beyle Lekka ("the service"), operated by Beyle Lekka ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use the service on behalf of a business or a CA firm, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that entity.

2. The service

Beyle Lekka is an AI-assisted accounting platform: it drafts double-entry vouchers from natural language, voice and documents, maintains books of account, inventory and statutory reports, and provides practice-management tools for CA firms. Features may evolve; we will not materially reduce a paid plan's features mid-term without notice.

3. Accounts & security

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate business and GSTIN details where the product asks for them.
• You control the access levels of users and CA-firm members you invite; actions they take within those permissions are your responsibility.

4. Subscriptions, trials & billing

• If a trial is offered, its duration, budget and expiry are shown in the application.
• Paid plans (Basic, Plus, Max and CA Pro) have the prices, billing intervals and capacity limits displayed in Billing and checkout. Payments use Razorpay, with applicable taxes shown at checkout.
• AI features consume plan entitlements; additional usage can be covered with top-up credit packs.
• Billing supports eligible upgrades and renewal cancellation; the normal plan-change screen does not offer downgrades. Review the amount due and effective dates before confirming a change. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

• No unlawful use, no uploading of data you have no right to process, no attempts to probe or disrupt the service.
• No automated scraping or bulk extraction from the product except through documented export features.
• We may suspend accounts that violate these rules, with notice where practicable.

6. Your data & your responsibilities

Your books remain yours — we claim no ownership over your financial data. You are responsible for reviewing AI-drafted entries before posting them, for the accuracy of your books, and for your statutory filings. Beyle Lekka is a tool that assists with accounting; it is not a substitute for a Chartered Accountant's professional judgement, audit, or tax advice.

7. Intellectual property

The service, its design, code and brand are our property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your internal business purposes while your subscription is active.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we engineer for statutory-grade accuracy — debit-credit guardrails, preview-before-posting, audit trails — we do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that AI-generated drafts are correct in every case.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or penalties arising from unreviewed AI drafts.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service or request account deletion. Export the records you need before requesting deletion or before account access ends. Account deletion revokes access and starts deletion processing; it does not provide a post-deletion export window. Cancelling a subscription is separate from deleting an account. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. Data retention is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

12. Changes

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the product and by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
