Keep up with tax as you go.

Record GST and TDS with the transaction, while the details are still in front of you. When month-end comes, check your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B views with your CA and export supporting data for review. Current GSTR-1 exports are drafts, not for filing.

Less to piece together at month-end

Check tax with the transaction

Check the rate, HSN/SAC and place of supply on the transaction. The draft shows the GST split, reverse-charge treatment and input-credit eligibility together.

Your CA sees the same totals

Your GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B views come from your books. Your CA can check the summary and export Excel or JSON for review. GSTR-1 exports are not filing-ready because Documents Issued (Table 13) is not yet supported.

Keep TDS details together

Keep each payee’s TDS section and rate in their master. The calculator brings section totals together for review, with updated section names shown where applicable.

From transaction to return view

01

Set up once

Add your company’s GSTIN, state and registration type. Set tax rates and HSN/SAC on items, and TDS sections on payees.

02

Capture with tax detail

Check the tax lines on each invoice or voucher, whether you typed a sentence, uploaded a bill or entered it manually.

03

Review the pending queue

Missing HSN codes, possible reverse charges and input-credit questions go into a review list for you or your CA.

04

Check and export for review

Check GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries and export the available Excel/JSON files. Do not file the current GSTR-1 draft exports; your accountant must prepare the complete return separately.

March GSTR-3B without the scramble

You have recorded tax through the month. Here is what remains to check.

  1. 1

Open the GSTR-3B view for March — outward tax, ITC and net payable are already assembled.

  2. 2

The review queue holds three items: one missing HSN, one RCM freight bill, one ITC question on a mixed-use purchase.

  3. 3

Your CA resolves all three in the queue; the summary updates live.

  4. 4

Export Excel for accountant review. Check any JSON output separately against portal requirements, and record settlement through the available workflow.

Result: a return your CA reviewed line by line — ready for the separate filing checks and process.
