Open: Company Profile / Masters → Reports and Import / Export
Before you begin
Have the reporting period and reviewed party registration details. Tax classification decisions should be checked with your accountant.
Practise in a test company first. Check the active company and your permissions. Available options depend on your plan, role and platform.
- 01
Review company GST registration in Settings → Company Profile and party tax details in Masters → Party. Check GST Rates and TDS Payees where relevant.
- 02
Review the period’s sales, purchases, notes and payments. Inspect tax amounts, classifications and references on the actual vouchers.
- 03
Open the available GST reporting workflow for GSTR-1 or GSTR-3B. Set the period and review the displayed totals and exceptions. Current GSTR-1 exports are drafts, not for filing: Documents Issued (Table 13) is not yet supported.
- 04
If Company Profile shows Pending GST review, inspect the affected transactions and proposed reclassification before applying any change.
- 05
Use Import / Export → Export for the relevant GST or TDS supporting reports offered in the catalogue. Check their dates and totals against the reviewed books.
- 06
Resolve differences with your accountant before using the output for filing or settlement. An exported report or posted GST settlement entry is not confirmation of government portal filing or payment.
Check your result
Report totals agree with the reviewed transaction records.
If something doesn’t look right
Report preparation and export are separate from government portal submission. Investigate source entries before adjusting a summary.
