Open: Import / Export → Export; account or company settings for the separate exit action

Before you begin

List the periods, masters, reports, documents and other records you need. Identify whether you intend to leave a shared company, cancel renewal or delete data.

Practise in a test company first. Check the active company and your permissions. Available options depend on your plan, role and platform.

  1. 01

Open the company and Import / Export → Export. Choose the required period and available catalogue sections for accounting records and reports.

  2. 02

Export the needed masters, vouchers, reports and stock information available to your workspace. Download supporting documents separately from Documents when needed.

  3. 03

Open the resulting files. Verify company names, periods, entry counts and key totals against Trial Balance, bank and party balances.

  4. 04

Keep a secure copy. If you use desktop and need a recoverable snapshot, create and verify an external backup through Settings → Sync & backups as a separate action.

  5. 05

Use the specific settings workflow for leaving a shared company, disconnecting a CA, cancelling renewal or deleting a workspace/account. Read the scope and effective date of that action.

  6. 06

For deletion, complete identity verification and inspect the impact preview and any transfer or preservation requirements before confirming. Verify the resulting status and any stated restore window.
